If you’re an actor or singer, who is open minded, curious, and knows there’s more to your voice than the pieces in your rep folder- you’re in the right place!
If you’re a sound healer or yoga teacher who wants to learn how to use their voice in an authentic, yet healthy and sustainable way- you’re also in the right place!

I teach Voice & Singing with a holistic, embodied approach designed to help you reconnect to your authentic sound and find your spark.

According to the Cambridge dictionary, the word ‘holistic’ means working with the whole of something or someone and not just a part.

Therefore, holistic voice work is an approach that acknowledges that the voice isn’t a stand-alone instrument. It is interconnected with the rest of your body, mind and spirit, and any one of those can be having an effect on your voice when you sing.

Your voice carries the imprint of your emotions, your physicality, the state of your nervous system and your energy- and so my lessons acknowledge this. As well as technical exercises, we may look at somatic movement, mindfulness, positive affirmations or other tools.

Whether your ultimate goal is performance, healing others, or singing for your own wellbeing, my research-based approach can support you in finding an authentic, safe & sustainable sound.

What is Holistic Voice work?
Who & What I can help with...
Actor/ Singers/ Theatre folk- I can support you with your sung or spoken voice work, with a true understanding and acknowledgement of the complex relationship that performers have with our instrument. I originally trained as an actor, and have worked in the musical theatre industry as a teacher/ facilitator for 9 years. Trust me- I get it!

Yoga Teachers & Sound Healers- Whether its learning how to healthily project your voice in a church hall/ studio or tentatively exploring toning and singing with your instruments and not knowing where to start... I have the unique perspective of 5 years working in the wellness space alongside my theatre work. I know that authenticity is key and I believe that connecting with your voice can deeply enhance your spiritual practice. I'd love to support you.
