ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Eleanor

I am a Vocal Coach, Yoga Teacher &  Sound Healer helping people heal the relationship with their voice, body and creative spirit.

I originally trained as an actor at one of the UK’s top drama schools and have over 8 years experience working as an actor, singer, singing teacher and drama facilitator for various Theatres, Schools and Arts organisations. 

​

I discovered the yoga practice back when I was a student, but really fell in love with it during a tumultuous time in my career as a way to feel grounded and calm. I trained as a Yoga Teacher in 2019.

As a singer, my journey to sound healing was almost an inevitable, natural progression from tentative exploration in a local yoga studio, to realising the potential of the voice for healing - not just performing. My four crystal singing bowls joined me and I trained in Sound Healing in 2023.

I combine these ancient practices with research-based vocal technique to offer a holistic, embodied approach to singing and spoken voice work that centres the person. I am currently researching the impact of incorporating the yoga practice into voice pedagogy as part of my MA with the Voice Study Centre. 

 

I coach Singing/ Voice privately as well as holding Yoga Classes and Sound Baths across Birmingham, the surrounding area and online. I also freelance at a local drama school and work in the Education Team at a large local theatre.
